Specular + is a
specifiable, high-reflectance material for use in fluorescent
light fixtures and reflectors, as well as Day Light Tubes (Natural
Lighting). Specular +
has been
manufactured by Material Sciences Corporation (MSC) for over 15
years. Now through an exclusive arrangement, Specular +
is part of the broad family of metal products offered by ACA.
Specular
+
is a
silver film laminated product that consists of a clear, super
plastic polyester film on which a layer of pure silver has been
deposited through a process known as Magnetron Sputtered Vacuum
Deposition (MSVD) that has been permanently bonded to a high
quality aluminum or steel surface. This results in a high performance, cost
effective substrate. Specular +
CRS (Cold Rolled Steel) is a unique product - there is no other product
on the market that combines a 96 TR surface with the properties of steel.

ACA can slit, blank, or shear Specular +
to your every size requirement.
Specular +
is not
designed for use with High Output (HO) or Very High Output (VHO)
lamps because of the high energy UV and heat that emanates from
such lamp and ballast configurations. Specular +
is not intended for outdoor lighting applications.
